Job Title: Overnight Janitor LEAD / Floor TechnicianOverview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Overnight Janitor / Floor Technician to join our team. Theideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facilityduring the overnight shift. Additionally, the candidate will possess expertise in floor care and maintenance toensure the upkeep and appearance of all floor surfaces.Responsibilities:1. Perform general janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all designatedareas of the facility.2. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, ensuring they meet health andsafety standards.3. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.4. Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors using appropriateequipment and chemicals.5. Inspect floor surfaces for damage, stains, or other issues and perform necessary repairs or maintenance.6. Operate floor cleaning machinery such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors effectively and safely.7. Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials.8. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and report any shortages or malfunctions to thesupervisor.9. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations.10. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a clean and orderly environment forstaff and visitors.Requirements:1. Proven experience as a janitor or custodian, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.2. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in janitorial and floor care operations.3. Ability to operate floor cleaning machinery including buffers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors.4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.5. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.6. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.7. Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed.8. High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.9. Certification in floor care and maintenance techniques is a plus.
