Job DescriptionWork Schedule: Part-time, per diem day shift. Monday - Friday rotating start times between 6:30am - 9:00am, working 8-hour shifts. No weekends, holidays or on-call required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Join the #1 hospital in WisconsinWe are seeking Endoscopy Technician to: Assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting. Prepare and position patients for procedures, assisting providers during endoscopy, including biopsy specimen collection, and polypectomy. Restocking of procedure room supplies and monitoring of supply PAR levels. Troubleshooting of all specialty equipment. Adherence to strict infection control practices and use of personal protective equipment.Education:Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred - Formal training or experience in medical specialty (i.e. LPN, MA, Advanced Nursing Assistant)Work Experience:Preferred - One year of experience in a clinical setting (or) One year of experience assisting in GI or Pulmonary Medical Procedures, Basic Cardiac Monitoring Experience.Licenses and Certifications:Minimum - BLS/CPR certificationRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Knowledge of communication techniques, teamwork, customer service standards and quality improvement.
