Position:

The Land Acquisition Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of land and rights-of-way acquisition and associated permitting efforts related to RNG projects and utility infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of land and rights-of-way acquisition and permitting efforts, including oversight of third-party consultants, related to the development, construction, and operations of RNG projects and interconnecting infrastructure, including natural gas pipelines, electricity conveyance infrastructure, access roads, and other utilities.
Manage and coordinate efforts and communications with external natural gas and electric utilities throughout the entire life cycle of projects, primarily regarding land or rights of way acquisition and use.Assist with contracting and establishing legal agreements with utilities.
Serve as primary company point of contact for landowners during development and construction phases of projects.Maintain good relationships, manage contractual obligations, and align with project execution team to keep seamless communication and coordination of activities in accordance with applicable agreements and relationships.
Compile, track, and manage all contractual obligations and notices with landowners during ongoing operations of RNG projects, keeping organized records in close coordination with legal department.Serve as primary point of contact for landowner communications.
Develop and manage build out and implementation of internal ArcGIS mapping system.
Assist with developing and maintaining strong community relations with local officials and municipalities in support of RNG projects.
Assist with cost estimating and tracking related to utility tie-ins and interconnections from early-stage concepts through construction.
Research and assess viability of utilities related to early-stage development opportunities.
Support Infrastructure Planning department with other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience with land acquisition required; linear infrastructure projects experience preferred.
Bachelors degree in fields of science, business, engineering, construction management, or finance preferred.Will consider experience and skills in lieu of education.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong geospatial mapping skills preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, especially in externally facing interactions. Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences.
Demonstrated leadership qualities, including effective management of multiple priorities, strong organizational skills, maintenance of business relationships, and team building.
Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of operating independently.
Maintain safety standards at all times.
The ability to travel and accommodate an overnight stay (65% travel time).
Must hold a valid U.S. drivers license with clean driving record.

Compensation:

Competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience to include Base Salary + bonus + benefit program.
