A Day in The Life of a Warehouse Associate/Order Picker:
  • Use a fork truck or electronic pallet jack to pick and stage orders and deliver them to the dock.
  • Assist in reviewing orders to ensure accuracy and loading delivery trucks for the next day's deliveries.
  • Use a computerized system or order sheets to pick items and update inventory.
  • Rotating and replenishing stock as needed.
  • Assisting with inventory cycle counts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Material handling, forklift, or previous warehouse/order picking experience preferred.
  • The ability to read, interpret, and comprehend documents such as training instructions, shipping tickets, procedure manuals, etc., quickly is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with frequent lifting of 40 - 60 pounds. Requires walking on a concrete surface.
