Financial Analyst in Grand Rapids, Michigan who supports our clients, co-workers and core principles – “understand our customers and satisfy their needs, do what we say we are going to do and have fun.”

Responsibilities:
Performfinancial budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
Analyze financial data and createfinancial modelsfor decision support.
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
Analyze past results, performvariance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans andforecasts.
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, andExcel dashboards.
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
Perform General Ledger account reconciliations as needed.
Assist in the valuation process of F&V companies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
3+ years of accounting experience required.
Background in an engineering or construction firm strongly desired.
Highly proficient in Windows operating systems, Microsoft office applications, and Access is essential.
Strong technical skills to work with financial databases, software, and spreadsheets to manage financial data.
Solid understanding of finance, accounting, and financial analysis to analyze and interpret financial data.
Excellent communication skills to convey financial information and insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
Experience with Deltek Vision strongly desired.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
