Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Experience in repair and/or testing of outdoor power equipment, power tools, robotics, or related automation equipment.

  • Proficiency with computer programs in an engineering environment (i.e. MS Excel, Word, etc.).
Preferred:

  • Knowledge of data acquisition (e.g. LabView), strain gauges, accelerometers, electric circuit board diagnosis

  • Associates/Engineering Technology degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics or related technical field

responsibilities:
  • Responsible for performance, durability, and safety testing for new product development

  • Conduct tests on robotic mowers and sub-components at the direction of design/test engineering teams

  • Maintain documentation of tests during process to allow for clear reporting of test results

  • Oversee field testing of products in controlled outdoor environments

  • Construct necessary tooling/fixtures in coordination with test plans

  • Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment
- High School diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree in a Technical Science (MET, Electronics, etc.) or equivalent experience preferred

- Mechanical aptitude.

- Ability to use a variety of tools to test and maintain engines and test equipment.

- Proficiency with computer programs in an engineering environment (i.e. MS Excel, Word, etc.).
