Company DescriptionJob DescriptionOverall responsibilities include working within the demand planning system to deliver robust and complete forecasts to supply planning, procurement, finance, and operations. The Analyst will improve and create new processes which will improve efficiency, responsiveness to change, and ultimately forecast accuracy. Other responsibilities include development of skills in the operation and maintenance of supply chain software. The Analyst will support and fulfill the company's current supply chain system needs from daily execution including all item attributes, designing and determining planning parameters, and synchronizing with shipment constraints. This role will assist in solving operational challenges to improve performance and create a sustainable competitive advantage for Domino's.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Planning Processes (50%)Create and maintain weekly-SKU-location level forecasts for US and Canada, and adjust day-level data as requiredGenerate forecasts for new products and promotions, facilitating cross-functional input as applicableAnalyze and troubleshoot demand-related issues in a timely and accurate mannerContinuously improve demand planning processes to optimize forecast accuracy and minimize biasAssist in synchronizing forecasting and planning with annual budget planning processes ensuring business units are aligned and interdepartmental needs are metParticipate in the development of effective documentation and materials for training, education, communication, and providing an authoritative reference on processes and solutionsAssist in creating and communicating key supply chain reporting (routine and ad hoc) to identify categories that need additional analysis or adjusted strategy based on changing business conditionsContinuously develop knowledge of supply chain processes and master dataEffectively communicate goals, status, changes and other information regularly to audiences at all levelsAssist in driving change management at multiple levels within the Supply Chain team as well as other functional areasManage time across multiple competing projects and prioritiesPlanning Tools (25%) Ensure the best algorithm is being utilized to optimize forecast accuracy, which will ultimately ensure product availability, optimize inventory, and minimize operational costAssist in maintaining the integrity of supply chain master data and other planning parameters in the forecasting softwareActively participate in software testing for upgrades and enhancementsContinuously develop knowledge of planning software to help increase its effectivenessReport all roadblocks and limitations with software to provider and, in addition, report issues with functionality to leadership as neededCross-Functional Collaboration (25%)Collaborate with various functional areas within Supply Chain, Marketing, Analytics & Insights, and Finance to optimize the forecast, identify risks, and develop effective mitigation plansTrack and provide regular reports to Sales & Operations Planning/Central Inventory Management team and leadership on forecast accuracy and trendingCommunicate forecast updates with relevant teams (Replenishment, Procurement, Operations) on a regular basisParticipate in the establishment of a Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP), including the development of content for presentations and dashboardsCollaborate with other functional groups to capture and resolve opportunities and issues where customers, both internal and external, are affected - including intercompany and international customersParticipate in continual training of all users on software, including new processes and new functionality as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or related and relevant field3-5+ years of inventory planning, forecasting, freight scheduling and/or purchasing experienceRequires detail orientation, strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and Intermediate-Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilityExcellent customer service and training skillsExceptional communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written), to all levels, including Senior LeadershipKnowledge of Advanced Supply Planning, Demand Planning and Supply Chain SystemsKnowledge of databases, SQL, query writing, SAP, PowerBI, Business Objects, and Peoplesoft preferredAPICS or IBF certification preferred Occasional travel possibleAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
