R&D Intern

The R&D Intern that supports our Agena Bioscience business has responsibility for formulating Oncology products, testing the formulation for proper performance, drafting instructions on how to build the product and how to test it as a quality measure.The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of standard molecular biology procedures and working in a GLP environment.The ideal candidate should also demonstrate an ability toward critical assessment of data. .
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Build multiple lots of current Agena products requiring transfer to manufacturing.
- Derive detailed instructions on how to build the product.
- Through experimentation, determine the quality tests required to assess the performance of the product.
- Develop detailed instructions on how to perform quality tests on the product.
- Standard molecular biology laboratory skills
- Pipetting
- UV spectrophotometry
- PCR
- Understanding of Gool Laboratory Practices
- Aliquoting reagents, labeling tubes, building product kits
- Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with data analysis a plus
- Detail oriented and strong troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated learner
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary for this position is $20 an hour.
