PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The Supply Chain Systems Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the national transportation routing program from a distribution user's perspective as well as the business/technical support side of initiatives critical to the establishment and optimization of an integrated supply chain. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with and influence all distribution centers, customer service, sales, finance, information technology, and materials management. Spearhead initiatives to improve the functionality of transportation systems for the distribution centers. Develop and publish detailed training materials for transportation system and provide on-going training as required. Develop detailed documentation of new procedures and assist in development of measurement tools. Develop process flows for Supply Chain initiatives and assist in project justification. Support future system upgrades and the execution of new transportation functionality. Provide business/technical support to Corporate and Distribution Center personnel for Supply Chain system initiatives and enhancements. Lead formal group training sessions by establishing training criteria, agendas and follow-up strategies. Provide remote and on-site training as required. Assist in distribution center vehicle management with regards to current inventory and future needs based on patient / clinic / territory changes and realignments. Lead the effort to implement daily dynamic routing and automate communication. Assist in the development of projects involving cross-functional teams. Define and develop efficient sourcing processes that support strategies. Reduce transactional workload and cycle time through innovative solutions and systems. Builds productive working relationships. May provide assistance to junior level staff with general tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor. May refer to senior level staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise. Escalates issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary. Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations. Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities may include focus on one or more departments or locations. A high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use data to back up assumptions and develop business cases. Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced global team environment with other technical teams Ability to take the initiative and drive for results Knowledge of the procurement process and supply chain management is essential.
