These could include (but are not limited to):Personal HygieneAmbulation/TransfersDressing/ShavingPrepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointmentsPerforms light housekeeping activitiesPerforms patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home trainer. These could include (but are not limited to):Providing hospice supportive careMedication remindersAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercisesAssisting with blood glucose monitoringCare of bed-bound patientsIncontinence careUse lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer liftsPreferred Experience in:Hoyer liftPersonal careRange of Motion ExercisesFoley careCompanionshipLight cleaningQualifications and Skills:High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.Certified Nurse Assistant or Home Aid course completionOne year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities)-preferred.Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobileTo our care team members we commit to deliver on the following experiences when you partner with Right At Home.We promise to help you become the best you can be.
