About the Role:

As a Technology Development Engineer, you will lead the development of new or emerging technologies into products identified through the Wabash "Idea to Solution" process. You will be responsible for validating the products meet project requirements and are properly transitioned to the commercialization process.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Preliminary design and development of products and or processes leveraging new technologies
  • Create Project Charters
  • Create Proofs of Concept
  • Lead concept and innovation brainstorming sessions
  • Supervise Prototype builds
  • Create Designs of Experiments and Test Plans (DVPR, PFMEA, DFMEA) to evaluate new designs
  • Other duties as assigned

Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred Major: Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science)
  • 3+ years' experience in R&D or Design Engineering
  • 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks
  • FEA experience is a plus
  • Experience with Composite Materials is a plus
  • Good problem solving and analytical skill
