Key Responsibilities: Accurately document and record informationMaintain performance numbers while producing good quality productFacilitate press make-ready, run and wash-upEffectively troubleshoot print quality, register and technical specification issuesSet up and operating the press in an effective and efficient mannerMonitor equipment and the printing process to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standardsDemonstrates timely and effective problem solving skillsProvides data to Prism in support of the manufacturing, sales, and materials information systemsDemonstrates effective interaction skills to support team activities related to effective process decisions and goalsDemonstrates knowledge and ability to perform quality control tests to ensure customer specificationsEnsures that finished product is produced according to customer specificationsMinimum Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalentAbility to work any shift and overtime as neededMust be able to demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problemsMust have competencies/skills in all areas of teamwork, flexibility, stress tolerance, integrity, initiative, problem solving, cross functional awareness, drive, and concern for excellencePrinting/Production experience is preferredAbility to accurately read a tape measureAbility to be self-directed and multitaskTimelinessMust be able to read and follow directions in EnglishPrior Press Operator or assistant experience is preferredPrior Manufacturing experience preferredPrior flexographic printing experience preferredComputer Skills in Internet Explorer, Access and ability to learn PRISM softwarePhysical Requirements;o Must be able to successfully complete a color blind testo Must be able to lift 50 poundso Must be able to climb, kneel, bend, squato Must be able to grasp, push, pull and have fine motor skillso Must be able to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background checkResume containing qualifications is required for further considerationPrintpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
