Job Description

What you will be doing

  • Review BEO's for menu details, room setup, food, beverage and audio visual needs.
  • Assist the set up staff in table set up, buffet set up, bar set up, etc.
  • Check quality and presentation of food before serving.
  • Prepare and serve beverages for the function.
  • Provide prompt and professional service to all guests.
  • Communicate with Kitchen keeping update on any changes.
  • The starting rate for this position is $17.00 per hour.

We'll pick you up from Syracuse Hancock International Airport in our free shuttleit's a six-mile ride from our hotel. Relax by the heated indoor pool and on your room's private balcony.

  • Customer service focused, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, likes to communicate with guests and associates.
  • High work ethic and self-initiative
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations
  • Must be flexible and available to work varying schedules to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays,based on the needs of hotel.
  • Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests
