Our Operations Team is expanding to support current and planned growth. We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist with a warm personality and client service attitude to operate and execute the front desk activities in our Glastonbury, CT office location. If you are someone who enjoys interacting with people, putting them at ease, and helping solve problems, we look forward to talking with you further about this role.

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Greeting visitors with a welcoming positive presence.
  • Greeting callers and routing incoming phone calls to the proper team members and departments across the agency.
  • Handling queries via phone, email, and general correspondence.
  • Operating and accurately distributing our general inquiry email box and faxes.
  • Assisting with coordination of events happening around the office.
  • Receiving and tracking incoming shipments.
  • Keeping and maintaining of facility and supplies.
  • Scanning, copying, and collating information and documents as needed.
  • Issuing, printing, and mailing certificates of insurance.
  • Updating client information in the agency management system as requested.
  • Assist Account Managers with specific steps in the renewal process for certain types of policies.
  • Creating and formatting letters using appropriate format using a variety of business tools.
  • Utilize agency management system for daily activities, documentation and other duties as assigned.
  • Work on projects and other work as assigned.
  • Participate in internal training as well as carrier system training sessions.
  • Assist with activities and projects as part of the company acquisition process.
  • Review, update, and develop processes and workflows as needed.
  • Participate in internal learning and development sessions
  • Follow department and company defined processes, procedures, and workflows, within specified timelines, to drive consistency and efficiency, with a focus on client experience.
  • Support and demonstrate the core values of our agency: trust, respect, creativity, and fun
  • Support and live our Be Sure Service Standards, Helping Others Culture, and Quality Program
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company information and adhere to all personal and financial data privacy protocols

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Fast and eager learner.
Qualifications
  • Minimum six-months to one year of client facing and/or client service experience.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience following procedures and workflows with a focus on client experience.
  • Previous experience working in a team environment and establishing positive working relationships.
  • Commitment to continuous process improvement and team development.
General Working Conditions
  • Fast paced office environment with significant telephone and in person activity.
  • Ability to view computer monitors for extended periods of time
