Responsibilities: You will be instrumental to the success of NASB by - Providing outstanding customer service, greeting each customer as they enter the bank, answering the phone promptly, and taking ownership of each interaction; this includes the support of our mortgage sales team by making referrals. Assisting customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services, administering accounts, and positively impacting retention of current customers while achieving branch sales and service goals. Resolving any problems, issues, or questions to ensure customer satisfaction. Always maintaining a positive, friendly, and professional attitude. Assisting with all branch level marketing activities and promotions. Performing applicable aspects of daily operations, including: opening new accounts, cash controls, balancing, fraud prevention, handling customer transactions, and accurately completing all CIP requirements. Adhering to all policies and procedures, including those related to the Bank’s Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) compliance program. Miscellaneous other duties as assigned. Qualifications: You will be instrumental to the success of NASB by - A High school diploma or equivalent. One year experience in a Retail or Sales environment engaging with customers and making product recommendations leading to sales or relevant experience. Ability to work branch hours. Ability to learn products, services and procedures quickly and accurately. Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to adapt the conversation of the NASB products/services based on the customers varying needs in person and over the phone. Basic math skills. Ability to problem solve and quickly identify currency denominations. Good time management and organizational skills – must be detail-oriented and thorough. Sound judgment and decision-making abilities. Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds. Intermittent periods of standing and walking. Preferred plus if you have: College degree or military equivalent; High school degree, GED or foreign equivalent required. At least one year experience in Retail banking sales, financial services sales, or relationship sales role in another industry, with demonstrated success in establishing new customer relationships. Financial management and responsibility skills.
