Following up on existing quotes and project leadsAnalyze customer needs, assessing product availability, researching special orders, and creating price quotes/bid documentsAdvise customers on project, equipment, or application requirementsIdentify value added solutions and close additional purchase of productsInterpret the project schedule to identify required equipment delivery dates and expedite selection, pricing, submittals, approval and procurementAssure potential risk factors have been evaluated and reviewed with senior managementEnlist key material/equipment vendors to provide technical and costing supportPurchase, secure, and expedite delivery of equipment and materials in a timely mannerRead and design pump curvesResearch and resolve service/product/technical issuesCommunicate and coordinate with others (co-workers, distribution team, etc.)Timely review and analysis of various operational reports such as: Open Order Reports, Open PO Reports, and Open WT ReportsDelegate and follow up appropriately to staff resourcesEnsure all documents are prepared, processed, and maintained correctly and in accordance with project timelineEnsure O&M manuals and submittals are accurate and completed by their deadlineEnsure warranty requirements and responsibilities are understood with the customerIdentify and resolve customer feedback or concerns in a professional and timely mannerAttend educational workshops and meetings; review professional publications; and establish personal networksKeep current on changes and trends in methods of construction, equipment, materials, and construction costsWork with manager to determine developmental needs that relate to Rampart and its goals and objectivesPromptly and professionally process sales orders, provide product knowledge and advice, and coordinate requested delivery or pickup times while presenting a professional imagePrepare heat loss analysis to demonstrate how Rampart's heating products could benefit the customer and result in cost savingsAdminister the highest level of comprehensive customer service by facilitating the quickest delivery possible, maintaining rapport, and promptly troubleshooting issuesAid in keeping a project on schedule by planning and coordinating the procurement and delivery of products to the customerCollaborate with Purchasing for unique product, ordering, or job requirementsAnswer customer phone calls, qualify leads, and follow up on opportunitiesOperate ethically in accordance with Rampart's established systems, policies and procedures As Required:Courteously handle customer returnsEnsure warranty requirements and responsibilities are understood by the customer Attend educational workshops and meetings; review professional publications; and establish personal networksMaintain current product and technical knowledge as well as current construction trendsAdditional duties as assigned by Supervisor Education, Skills, Training, & Experience Requirements:Product knowledgeCustomer service skillsSales experience preferred3 + Years of experience in plumbing, hydronic heating, or a related field Comprehensive product & industry knowledgeHS Diploma or Equivalent Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointProficiency in mathExperience with heat loss calculationsAt least 6 months of order entry experience preferredPhysical Requirements:Continuously (67-100% of the day) will be required to sit, talk, repetitively use hands, arms, and legs, and use eye/hand coordinationFrequently (34-66% of the day) will be required to sit, stand, walk, and lift or carry 10lbs or lessOccasionally (1-33% of the day) will be required to bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, push or pull, grasp, use fine manipulation and lift or carry 10-100+ lbs To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
