Responsibilities of an HVAC Apprentice:

  • Assist with all HVAC system installations efficiently and accurately while making customers happy.
  • Performing routine maintenance on HVAC systems, such as cleaning coils, changing filters, and checking refrigerant levels.
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and repairing HVAC units under the supervision of a senior technician.
  • Know how to establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction.
  • Show yourself professionalism and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
  • Ensure jobs are properly staged; sign off on the job quality checklist.

Requirements of an HVAC Apprentice:

  • Trade School Graduate with Internship at HVAC company OR Mechanically Inclined.
  • Knowledge of heating and cooling systems including the ability to draw simple diagrams, and read blueprints, and other diagrams highly preferred.
  • Clean, safe driving record.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
  • Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team.
  • Highly motivated, also a self-starter whos flexible and has a great attitude on life.
