Structural Engineer with our major utility client supporting Capital improvement projects within Transmission Design. This position will be working closely with Physical design for added features and substation enhancements adding support within the structure to support efficiencies within power delivery. Most of this work will be to build out and support projects as it pertains to codes structures within substations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of design experience of industrial and/or commercial structural engineering

Experience with analyzing steel connections

Professional Engineering registration is a plus, but not required

Proficient with MathCAD and STAAD Pro

Working knowledge with ANSYS

Working knowledge of AISC, ASCE, ACI codes

Design experience in transmission structures is a plus, but not required

Computer skills to be proficient with standard office software applications

Interpersonal skills sufficient to build working relationships with peers, internal customers and

the general public

Time management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects with various priorities and

competing deadlines

Written and verbal communication skills sufficient to satisfactorily complete project documentation
