Quality Manager

will be responsible for leading and mentoring the quality team, implementing, and overseeing the quality systems, documentation, and processes. Exceeding customer expectations and achieving world class excellence in quality is expected. A successful candidate will be results oriented, high level of integrity and drive. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain customer scorecard reporting process to track performance and drive continuous improvement Lead and direct customer 8Ds and problem-solving activities to ensure highest customer satisfaction always Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer requirements Ensure LPA process is robust and supports a continuous improvement culture Support internal and external issue escalation process; identify gaps and corrective actions for issue escalation Maintain product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures and government requirements; collaborate with other members of management to develop new training methods Prepare product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends while creating a culture of continuous improvement Lead Quality Best Business Practice team meetings to ensure collaboration between plants to implement best solutions globally Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies Achieve financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget as needed, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions Responsibility for customer notifications related to quality or delivery issues, including notifying its CB on special quality status per customer specific requirements (CSR) REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business or related 7+ years of experience in quality in manufacturing 3+ years of experience in Quality Management functions Automotive industry experience a plus Experience directly supporting customer sites a plus Certified Lean Manufacturing and/or ASQ certifications a plus
