Roxbury Central School has the following vacancy: Bus Drivers - Urgent Need District will provide training. CDL - Class B w/air break, passenger and school bus endorsement preferred, but not necessary. Salary starts at $19.86/hr. We are looking for reliable and dedicated School Bus Drivers to ensure the safe and timely transportation of students. Responsibilities include driving the bus along predetermined routes, picking up and dropping off students at designated locations, and adhering to all traffic laws and school district policies. The School Bus Driver will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, maintain a clean and orderly bus, and report any maintenance issues. Candidates must possess a valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with a school bus endorsement and have a clean driving record. Strong communication skills are necessary to interact with students, parents, and school staff professionally. The ideal candidate is patient, punctual, and has a strong commitment to safety. Experience in school bus driving is preferred but not required. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including early mornings and afternoons.
