Job Description:

We are currently seeking two highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Lathe Set-Up/Operators. The ideal candidates will have experience in setting up and operating lathes to produce precision parts for the tube and pipe industry. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate lathes to produce precision parts for tube and pipe mills
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
  • Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments for each job
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and make any necessary adjustments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in lathe set-up and operation
  • Experience in the tube and pipe industry is preferred
  • Strong understanding of blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
