Pony Bird is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities.

STARTING PAY $18.00 PER HOUR PLUS DIFFERENTIALS

EVENING SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.00 | WEEKEND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.00

What does a Housekeeper do?

  • Ensure the facility is maintained in a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition
  • Perform all laundry services
  • Perform general cleaning duties
  • Serve as a positive role model
  • Meet attendance expectations
Schedule and Work Location:
  • PRNas needed to cover other team members days off
  • Day Shift: 6:45am - 3:15pm
  • Evening Shift: 3:45pm - 12:15am
  • Float between our DeSoto and Hillsboro locations
Qualifications:
  • Some experience in housekeeping in a Community Living setting preferred
  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be organized and responsible
  • Must be able to perform tasks with frequent interruptions and work with minimal supervision
  • Must be a self-starter and can work as a team or independently
  • Ability to take necessary and appropriate action in the event of a fire, natural disaster, or another emergency
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to be flexible to provide the needs of the individuals served
  • Must comply with all OSHA safety standards and precautions
