RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a Full-Time Pediatric Endocrinologist for a Unique Opportunity in Northern NJ
Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ and Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ is seeking a board-certified/board eligible fellowship-trained physician in pediatric endocrinology to join their Division of Pediatric Endocrinology.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of 5 pediatric endocrinologists and 2 APNs covering the RWJBarnabas Health (RWJBH) Northern Region and will share call and be a member of the group clinically and academically. There is the opportunity to teach and mentor residents and medical students. There is a multi-disciplinary diabetes team with dieticians, nurses, and social workers in the Division. The successful candidate will split their time between the two institutions.

We are partnered with Rutgers NJMS, offering exceptional patient care and leading-edge research, further advancing our mission. We are driven to provide evidence-based care to the communities we serve. We are transforming the care delivery system with a design focused on eliminating health disparities and improving outcomes for patients in our community and beyond. RWJBH currently employs 12 pediatric endocrinologists in the health system that collaborate academically.

Candidate Requirements:
BC/BE in Pediatrics
Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology
NJ licensed or eligible for licensure

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is one of the busiest providers of pediatric care in New Jersey. With more than 200 pediatricians and pediatric specialists on staff, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center offers virtually every major pediatric sub-specialty. The Medical Center offers the expertise of specialized nurses, respiratory therapists, child life coordinators, social workers and other health care professionals specially trained in treating the smallest patients, and personally dedicated to making them well. Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is an associate member of the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions. Our facilities include a 50+ bed level 3 NICU, pediatric floor and pediatric ICU with full-time pediatric intensivists and hospitalists on staff.
