Financial Controller

Company Overview:

Our client is a strong mid-sized manufacturing company that has predominantly supplied the automotive industry. Along with a commitment to quality and efficiency, and many years of experience in metal forming, they have positioned themselves as a valuable resource in the industry.

Position Overview:

The controller will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting to support decision-making processes for the organization. The successful candidate will be a hands-on financial leader with experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements.
• Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as required.
• Lead the accounting/payroll team providing guidance and support as required.
• Administer all benefit plans including health, life, disability and 401k/pension plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience preferably in the automotive industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-pace environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
