As we embark on this journey, we are seeking a seasoned Content Marketing Manager with a deep understanding of complex software solutions to drive our marketing efforts and establish our brand as a thought leader in the industry.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Content Marketing Manager to lead our content marketing efforts and drive engagement with our target audience. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in content creation and your understanding of complex software solutions to develop compelling marketing collateral that resonates with our audience and drives meaningful interactions with our brand. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the success of our products and establishing our brand as a thought leader in the industry.

As our first in-house marketing manager, you will be the creative force behind the success of our SaaS platform, responsible for planning and creating compelling content and materials that resonate with non-profit audiences. Working closely with our Product Leadership and Revenue (US) and product managers (India), you will be the go-to expert for all aspects of content creation to support product launches, as well as sales and customer success initiatives.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with our go-to-market plan, leveraging your expertise to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Create a wide range of marketing collateral, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, videos, webinars, and presentations, to showcase the value proposition of our complex software solutions and address the needs and pain points of our target audience.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, sales, and customer success teams to gather insights and ensure alignment on messaging and content priorities.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling, and accessible content that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify content trends, industry insights, and opportunities for thought leadership.
  • Optimize content for SEO and lead generation, leveraging best practices and analytics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage content distribution across multiple channels, including our website, blog, social media, email campaigns, and third-party platforms, to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform and enhance our content strategy, serving as a subject matter expert within the organization.
Requirements

Highly-qualified candidates will have the following experience:
  • B2B SaaS marketing experience with a complex product
  • Created a broad array of content (short-form, long-form, videos, webinars, etc) without the help of graphic designers/copywriters and able to provide work samples
  • Skilled using a variety of content creation tools
  • Demonstrated ability to address multiple audiences/buyer personas
  • Incorporated "story-telling" into your content
  • Strong research skills
  • Repurposed content across different channels
In general, candidates should have:
  • 2-4 years of experience in content marketing with a strong track record of creating compelling content for complex software solutions.
  • Experience with a starup a plus
  • Deep understanding of complex software solutions and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and compelling content.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive content tailored to different audiences and channels.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for visual design, able to bring ideas to life in innovative and impactful ways.
  • Video production experience, from concept development to editing and publishing.
  • Proven experience creating a wide range of collateral necessary to successfully launch a new software product, including but not limited to product descriptions, case studies, blog posts, email campaigns, website content, and other marketing materials.
  • Experience in leveraging content marketing to drive lead generation and customer acquisition, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies that optimize content for lead generation, nurturing prospects through the sales funnel, and ultimately contributing to revenue growth.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in the association or non-profit sector is preferred but not required.
