*Come join us and serve our great community Shiloh Home, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Specialist for our Sanctuary facility in Thornton, CO.*
**Position responsibilities include:**
* Coordinating, preparing, and cooking all meals served to the school and residential services on a daily basis
* Ensuring all USDA guidelines for nutrition and proportion are followed for school and residential meals
* Responsible for ordering and keeping track of inventory for all food and supplies on an ongoing basis
* Keeping kitchen and food storage areas clean, organized, and hazard-free on an ongoing basis
* Coordinating order and food costs
* Prepares or packages all meals served at Shiloh Home, Inc., with emphasis on nutrition balance on a daily basis.
**Qualifications:**
* Culinary degree is preferred, but can substitute experience for a degree if applicable.
* *Applicants must be professional , be at least 23 years of age, able to pass a criminal background check, have clean MVR, and hold a valid Colorado drivers license or the ability to obtain one. Must be able to pass a background check.*
**Schedule:**
* Must have flexible hours based off of catering needs.
**Compensation:**
* *In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $14.84 and $17.24 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.*
