Job Profile:

The Rx Policy Specialist researches and analyzes manufacturer return goods policies and accurately enters appropriate data into the Return Policy Engine ("policy grid") of Pharma Link 's Prophet System. The person in this position maintains an accurate and real-time policy grid for correct processing results. The Policy Specialist shall develop relationships with the proper contact person at all wholesalers, manufacturers, and other reverse distributors to optimize the effectiveness of the Pharma Link policy grid. The associate will compile and analyze contract-related data and maintain historical information and documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Proactively source the latest return goods policies ("RGP") and maintain detailed virtual documentation of the manufacturer's or labeler's return policy.
  • Proactively review contract policy terms and conditions to verify that they are accurately reflected in the policy master grid.
  • Explain return goods policy terminology to internal and external customers upon request.
  • Accurately and timely perform master data entry to update the policy grid.
  • Evaluate return goods policy deviations and act to correct the policy grid or work with the manufacturer or wholesaler to initiate corrections. Work must be undertaken according to the agreed SLA and documented in JIRA Ticket System.
  • Proactively and meaningfully collaborate with other departments to address risks, investigate issues and determine process improvement opportunities.
  • Identify return goods policy management system improvements.
  • Able to manage individual workload to ensure the timely and compliant accomplishment of project deadlines and accurate internal and external client deliverables.
  • Collaborates effectively with other functions and teammates to explain complex RGPs and their administration.
  • Self-monitor progress according to the agreed schedule of policy review.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reporting metrics to management as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be proficient in computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft programs including; Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Experience in pharmacy or pharmaceuticals industry preferred but not required
