Issues lab coats and uniforms to authorized users.Sorts and inspects uniforms returned from offsite laundry for quality.Operates heat seal, button and embroidery machines.Delivers lab coats and uniforms to staff physicians locker rooms or coat closets.Unloads soiled linens from gravity fed chutes.Assembles various linen packs for use in Surgery and other departments.Other duties as assigned.Education: High School Diploma or GED.Certifications:None plexity of Work:Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Work Experience:Will receive on the job puter data entry experience preferred.Six months experience in a customer service or laundry environment preferred.Physical Requirements: Requires full body motion, including ability to perform work while bending, stooping, and stretching.
