Housekeeper/Houseperson

Job Summary:The Housekeeper/Houseperson at Holiday Inn Express - Marina State Beach is responsible for maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. This individual reports to the Housekeeping Manager and works closely with the entire hotel staff to ensure high levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive salary and benefits package.Compensation & Benefits:This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $15 to $16 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, we offer benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within our company.Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and guidelines- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests and handle any requests or concerns promptly- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities as needed- Vacuum, mop, and dust all areas of the hotel, including hallways, lobbies, and common areas- Empty trash and replace supplies in guest rooms and common areas- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department- Follow all safety procedures and practices to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests and staff- Assist with laundry duties as needed- Maintain organization and cleanliness of housekeeping supply closets and carts- Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or General ManagerRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Some prior housekeeping experience preferred, but not required- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent customer service and communication skills- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods of time- Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed- Must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesEEOC Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
