WFI Print Plate Mounter Apprentice

Winpak Printing Team is seeking a Plate Mounter to join the Production team based out of Senoia,GA on the B Shift.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently mounting plates for printing presses, ensuring high-quality output while minimizing scrap and downtime. Your contributions will support the production of innovative packaging solutions for our customers, aligning with Winpak's commitment to excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities/What you will do:

• Mount individual plate designs for presses in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure safety by using equipment properly and following all safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness of mounting, ink room, and general work areas.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and safe work environment.
• Follow detailed work instructions and monitor raw material usage to ensure adequate supply.
• Assist with machine changeovers and support other production functions when needed. •Maintain high quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications/What is required?

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or production experience (printing or plate mounting experience is a plus).
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications/What is nice to have?

• Experience with printing press equipment or plate mounting.
• Familiarity with ink room procedures and material management.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs.

Additional Details:

• This position is for [shift type: Full-time, Day Shift, Evening Shift, etc.].
• This position is 100% onsite.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent moving of objects up to 75 lbs. Requires standing and walking 80% of the time.
• Occasional exposure to chemical hazards, hot surfaces, and noise from equipment.
