Chattel Loan Processor

The primary responsibility of this position is to accurately and efficiently process all chattel loans received over the phone or in person, to include documentation, closing, and funding. In addition, the incumbent must ensure compliance with Federal, State, local laws, NCUA Regulations, HUD guidelines, and company Lending Policies.

Highlights:
- Ensure mortgage loan packages are complete to include receipt of collateral documentation and security instruments, and input additional information, as needed, to the FICS MS system
- Conduct all loan verifications, i.e. income, rental, employment, etc.
- Prepare closing packages and send to source/customer/attorney for closing of loan
- Receive and audit completed closing package from source to ensure all conditions have been met
- Conduct final interview with customer to ensure home is complete
- Perform a variety of customer service related tasks by providing information and assistance to both external customers, and office personnel via telephone, email, or letter inquiries
Preferred
- Manufactured housing or auto loan processing experience a plus
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required
- Type 45 wpm
- PC skills to include Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and manage multiple projects
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
