Job Description

Tax and accounting senior working under the direction of the owner and controller will have the responsibility for completing multiple returns, including supervision and review of the work of staff. This would be a flex position.
Responsibilities
3-5 years experience in Public Tax and Accounting
Prepare HOA, Partnership, Individual Corporate, Franchise and Not for profit tax returns
Train staff accountants in all types of tax preparation as necessary
Review tax returns prepared by staff accountants
Work with controller to handle IRS exams
Conduct tax research and assign tax calculations to clients
Meet with and advise clients on tax planning and compliance
Miscellaneous projects as necessary
Education and Experience Required
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or taxation required;
CPA not required but a plus
Not for profit, high net worth, real estate, construction, M&D and service industry experience
Self-directed and organized
Team Player
Strong leadership and client relationship abilities
Excellent written and verbal skills
Able to meet deadlines and engagement time budgets
Software: UltraTax, File In Time, Microsoft Office Applications, Pro-Systems engagement, CCH, Quickbooks and Peachtree
