The RoleRedMane has a full-time opportunity for a Business Analyst as we continue to grow our Chicago based practice. As a business analyst, you will work within our project teams, designing and configuring integrated software solutions for customers in a variety of business domains, including Health and Human Services, Utilities, Probation, Higher Education, Healthcare and more.Our solution offerings include custom design, integrated solutions that leverage third-party software and COTS products, and highly configurable, low code case management solutions that incorporate leading-edge technologies. These include cloud-based mobility, data analytics and visualizations, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. As a business analyst, you will work within our project teams to design solutions within these offerings.You will also participate in small-scale planning and assessment engagements where you will work closely with our customers to present and document options, recommendations and roadmaps to support their long-term planning and strategy.As a business analyst, you will work in a collaborative environment where you will play a key role in obtaining requirements from clients, lead and take part in JAD sessions and work with internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities of a Business Analyst include:Plan and lead Joint Application Design (JAD) sessionsElicit and document business and functional requirements from project stakeholders.Design and document user interfaces (web, mobile).Design and document system interfaces for integrated solutions. Collaborate with customers and RedMane technical resources to validate solution approach and feasibility.Create functional design documents.Configure solutions that are built upon our SaaS case management platform.Support team members through the development and testing of functional designsSupport client team members as they go through user acceptance testing of delivered solutions.Provide status reporting, quality assurance monitoring and ensure adherence to procedures and policies.Skills & Role RequirementsThe Business Analyst will need to have:We are looking for people with aptitude, intelligence and desire.Must have an interest in and willingness to learn diverse technologies.Ability to lead design sessions and workshops with clients to capture functional requirements.Ability to focus on high quality work under pressure.Presentations skills and the ability to conduct design sessions with key stakeholders. Must be able to manage these sessions in a cooperative and controlled manner.Direct and succinct verbal and written communication style with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Power Point, Excel and Visio.Experience as a business analyst in projects involving data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and IoT is a plus, but not required.Technical background and/or technical project experience is a plus, but not required.
