With over 115 locations in 24 states, our team of more than 1,900 employees serves over 42,000 patients.Position SummaryThe Medical Director oversees the Opiate Treatment Program, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing medical care to enrolled patients, including special populations. They assess patient eligibility, adhere to regulatory standards, and contribute to program development.Responsibilities:Conduct admission physicals and medical assessmentsReview laboratory results and medical documentationPrescribe and adjust medication dosagesCoordinate with healthcare providers and clinicsProvide medical training and supervisionEnsure program compliance with accreditation standardsCollaborate with the treatment team on patient careQualifications:Valid State medical license with DEA certificateExcellent communication and decision-making skillsProficiency in computer use and office equipmentKnowledge of addiction treatment and medication-assisted therapyAbility to work in a multi-disciplinary team environmentPhysical Demands/Work Environment:Effective communication skillsAdequate vision and hearingCapacity to sit or stand for extended periodsAdaptability to variable workload and high-stress situationsInteractions with diverse patient populationsStandard medical office conditions and keyboarding for extended periods.Why BHG?Join BHG, where your career flourishes in an environment built on teamwork and compassion.
