Taking over network for a time but moving off in the future want to have a more modern cloud centric state. Potential to re-engineer or re-architect networks. Looking for someone who has built out networks

Network Engineer, Pivotal Ventures:Collaboration and understanding of security (integration with physical security systems) Physical offices and personal residences that have intricate security systems.Will work very closely with security teamCloud aspect/ do not have (on hand?) infrastructure at this point, want to be more cloud centricCloud centric important - CISCO CISCO /CCNA - valuable (meraki - cloud platform for networking)Taking over network for a time but moving off in the future want to have a more modern cloud centric state. Looking for someone who has built out networks.Has separate DevOps teamDay to day: Initial 6-12 mos- learning existing infrastructure, what will be migrated over - lots of collaboration with parent company. Vital to help with transition.Tech team around 8-9 people and adding more team members to take on shared services.Flexibility to travel when transition occurs. Key Responsibilities
Partner Closely with Security Team to Implement strategy, technical direction, and engineering solutions for enterprise-wide Network-Infrastructure services supporting key business requirementsParticipates in development and execution of architecture, engineering, and operational roadmaps for IT Infrastructure services globallyProvides technical leadership for the establishment and implementation of end-to-end solutions utilizing new technologiesProvides technical solutions for the establishment and implementation of high availability and/or integrated solutionsProvides clear and concise recommendations to remediate performance bottlenecks.Participates in testing with other teams to ensure that performance expectations are met after rolling out new applications and servicesProvides escalation and support for troubleshooting and resolution of Network-Infrastructure issues as required by other infrastructure support teamsMaintain expertise in Network-Infrastructure technologies to ensure that cost-effective solutions and processes are deployed and aligned with business directionPartner with business unit and development team SMEs to develop best -practices that can be proactively incorporated into architectural and engineering designsManage, measure, monitor, and report Infrastructure characteristicsExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative matrix environmentDevelop and maintain partnerships with key vendors and ensure that all technology and services roadmaps are understood and leveraged where applicablePartner with other IT functions and third party service providers in the conception, evaluation, piloting, engineering, and operational delivery of solutions for the organizationProvides on-call support for business-critical escalationsInstalls & qualifies components into production following company policies & proceduresParticipate in IT risk management initiatives in line with industry and corporate audit and compliance strategiesCollaboration and understanding of security (integration with physical security systems) Physical offices and personal residences that have intricate security systems.
Skills/Knowledge
Expert-level experience in depth with key Network-Infrastructure technologies, design/implementation, protocols, standards, and best practices (BGP / DMVPN / QoS / Enterprise Switching / Datacenter Switching)Expert-level experience with Network-Infrastructure capacity planning and general Network-Infrastructure management best practicesKnowledge of applicable data privacy practices and lawsAble to perform and lead in intercultural environments and projectsAble to conduct research into Network-Infrastructure issues and products as requiredExperienced in planning and leading med-large projectsCreative and well organized with a history of consistent project management and follow-throughDevelops partnerships with others to support and collaborate in delivery of goalsInnovative with strong analytical problem solving and interpersonal skillsStrong crisis and vendor management skillsAble to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environmentStrong communications skills in English
