Construction Estimator

Details:

Our client, based out of South Jersey, is looking for a Construction Estimator to join their team. This role requires demonstrated expertise in project estimating, specifically with high-rise buildings, commercial structures, and bridge rehabilitation projects across NJ, PA, and NY.

Responsibilities:

- Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work and requirements.

- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural steel projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.

- Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with the project and incorporate risk factors into cost estimates.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

- Ability to interpret architectural and structural construction drawings

- Knowledge of AISC standards

- Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Project
