DFC Loan Processor I

The DFC Loan Processor I works with Lithia Stores to ensures that each loan package is compliant with DFC loan standards within deadlines. Will verify employment and insurance coverage for loan collateral, documenting all steps taken within the LOS, limiting risk to DFC by identifying fraudulent activity, and provides excellent service by phone and email to Lithia stores and borrowers.

Location: Tigard, OR (Hybrid)

Compensation Range: $21/hr - $22/hr

Responsibilities
  • Review new deal packets within 1 business day and communicates any funding delays by phone and email promptly
  • Document all communication with dealers, borrowers as well as internal events
  • Complete employer verification, insurance verification and borrower welcome call
  • Meet processing expectation metrics on a consistent basis including a review and response to correspondence from dealer same day
  • Can effectively handle escalated non-responsive deals and communicate with dealers in a professional manner
  • Maintain positive working relationships with dealers and underwriters
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication
  • PC skills including knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Windows, etc.)
  • Experience in loan processing preferred
