Overview of the Senior Tax Accountant role:
  • The Senior Tax Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and providing valuable insights to support the companys financial goals.
  • This position offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to contribute to a dynamic and global organization.
  • Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all relevant regulations.
    • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assess their impact on the company, and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely tax provision calculations for financial reporting purposes.
  • Prepare and analyze tax-related financial statements, ensuring transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues, staying abreast of legislative changes and industry trends.
  • Provide recommendations based on research findings to optimize the companys tax position.

Qualifications of the Senior Tax Accountant:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporate taxation.
  • Recent public accounting experience#INMAY2024
