IT Infrastructure Manager

Ensure streamlined operation of the infrastructure team in alignment with business objectives Enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the business by delivering innovative ideas, solutions and services Responsible for security of desktops, server systems, networks, and enterprise information Responsible for the systems and operation to backup and protect all Badger information stores to ensure the integrity of all enterprise information Responsible for project ownership, budgeting, policy design and procurement of infrastructure technologies Manage and lead the infrastructure team to ensure company service level agreements are met and infrastructure and security maintenance is performed in a timely manner Participate in strategic planning activities, including planning, design and coordination of technical resources Identify problem trends (single site or overall) and proactively develop ways to fix the root cause of the problem Support mission critical infrastructure environments (end notes, network and servers) maximizing system uptime and productivity Responsible for guidance, professional development and performance of direct reports Resolves employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment and discrimination and elevates to the attention of management as necessary Required to work (regular or overtime) or provide on call support on any day, may include nights, weekends and holidays May be required to travel to other locations as needed Additional duties as assigned by management WHAT WE VALUE Must be able to work well independently and in the context of team environments Advanced verbal and written communication skills Effective at working cross functionally Advanced system support and Microsoft Office computer skills Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with company policies, practices and within the law Must possess professional presentation skills Proven ability to build, motivate and manage a team Ability to aggressively influence and persuade in order to achieve desired outcomes Demonstrate and exhibit a high level of professionalism Strong leadership and interpersonal skills WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Networking, Computer Science, Management, Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience required Experience of three (3) to five (5) years of information technology experience required Experience of one (1) to three (3) years of management experience preferred Experience in virtual server environment, networking and troubleshooting preferred Experience in a distribution and/or sales environment preferred TOOLS YOU WILL NEED General office equipment and materials Desktop, Server Patching and Anti-Virus protection management HP Switch Configuration and AP Configuration Fortinet Firewall Configuration Windows Server Operating Systems Microsoft Software Products Citrix Qualifications
