We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm with rotating closing. No Holidays No WeekendsThe Clinic:BayCare Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 19 specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. To encourage this, we provide regular opportunities for professional development, we seek out feedback and ideas, and we invite participation on a variety of projects.The Job:Greets and checks in patients.Assists patients in filling out patient forms.Answers phones, takes messages, routes calls when necessary.Develops patient charts.Enters pertinent information into patient charts.Schedules patient appointments.Collects co-payments from patients.Performs general office duties.Respects and maintains confidentiality.Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.The Requirements:A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or HealthCare Business Services is appropriate.Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.Must possess strong desktop computer skills.Experience with EPIC is preferred.Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
