Summary:

The Warehouse Coordinator's responsibility is to schedule activities by shift with respect to orders, door assignments, dispatch of trucks, and contract carriers supporting production and various other departments on a daily basis., and overall being within a GMP environment. This is a perfect position for someone who want to gain further career advancements within a large reputable Biotech company

Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Pay: $20-22/hr. - depending experience

Location: Van Nuys, CA - Onsite

Duration: 3 months to start - possible extension

Shifts: Mon-Fri 6AM - 2:30PM

salary: $20 - $22 per hour

work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Cleans and organizes ambient warehouse, H3 Chemical Storage Room, +5, -20 and TSA cages.
  • Receives and fills orders.
  • Performs Physical/Cycle Counts.
  • Inspects incoming materials.
  • Operates PIT equipment.
  • Prepares receipt documentation and tags material.
  • Performs Put Aways of material and intermediates.
  • Pulls material/chemicals for all incoming requisitions.
  • Completes all incoming requisitions (MSR, WTR, MTL). Verifies all staged material and keys out requisitions.
  • TSA certification. Performs verification of shipping memos for samples. Supports Distribution activities when needed.
  • Participates in process improvement activities and Tier meetings.
  • Drives trucks when needed.
  • Perform removal of hazardous waste, if applicable.
  • Must be proficient in written and oral English
  • Requires strong interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems and pc environments.
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
  • Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.).
  • Required to monitor facility conditions pertaining to safety, cleanliness, temperature, and general operational function
  • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
