As Director, Software Engineering, you're responsible for the design, development and implementation of short and long-term solutions for unique and differentiated identity and fraud technologies. You will oversee new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure, etc. You're responsible for reviewing technology requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions and ensuring the highest level of quality for your assigned identity and fraud application(s).

What you'll do:

  • Manage the development, deployment and maintenance of Kount's flagship Command product.
  • Ensure the highest level of performance, resilience and uptime for all owned products and services.
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to build and execute robust product roadmaps that will help meet customer and business needs.
  • Build a culture of collaboration, innovation and operational excellence while also hiring and developing top talent to maintain a world-class team
  • Maintain the highest level of regulatory and security compliance
  • Lead the technical advancement and growth of core shared services and solutions including Device and Third Party Application
  • Develop and mentor technical and managerial staff
  • Collaborate with product and customer success teams to build a customer migration strategy from Command to K360 payments.
  • Manage and maintain your budget and engage in planning activities related to financial strategies and technology development
  • Demonstrate leadership across the engineering enterprise and seek out opportunities to improve, increase efficiencies and develop new capabilities within the team you manage.
What experience you'll need
  • Deep technical understanding of cloud SW development and deployment
  • Complete understanding of cloud native stack & CI/CD
  • Working experience of API first architecture
  • Proven track record of managing diverse and complex engineering teams and successful development and release of products and services
  • Experience in transitioning engineering teams between "on premise" (legacy products) to cloud solutions is preferred
  • Minimum BS degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
