Senior Structural Engineer- Wireless

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER with 10 + years of experience in the wireless/telecommunications field, for our office in Towson, Maryland. The employee in this position will primarily work on an ever-changing mix of wireless projects. However, depending on company workload, the candidate may work on a variety of non-wireless structures, including design of retaining walls, bridges, and other miscellaneous structures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Leading the design and analysis of wireless and non-wireless projects, which could include telecommunication facilities (monopoles, self-supporting towers, guyed towers, mounts), buildings, water tanks, their associated foundations, and a blend of other atypical structures, as well as detailing elements for steel, masonry, and concrete structures. + Project management responsibilities which may include preparation of proposals, overseeing staff and coordinating with other disciplines in addition to evaluating system selection, design, planning and direction of construction document preparation. + May assist with client billings to assure timely completion of projects; resolves client questions on invoices and makes follow up phone calls as needed. + May include occasional travel for meetings, engineering inspections and mappings. + Candidates must be capable of completing assigned work while maintaining an elevated level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Successful candidates will have: + Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
