•Defines the Concept of Operations in conjunction with contractual exhibits through the development of the project scope, KPIs, system requirements, process flows & operational SOPs
•Directs project priorities & timeline milestones through the coordination of a project manager, work stream owners & client while assuring that all requirements are met for constructing, starting, and operating the project
•Coordinates budget activities through project finance resources to meet contractual commitments while providing insight into areas needing cost reduction and process or profit improvement
•Identifies and manages risk throughout the project; ensures communication to all stakeholders including executives and clients
•Verifies the approved staffing and employee training plans have been executed prior to go-live
•Provides on-site support throughout the project and assists in coordinating resources during go live

Manages post go-live auditing and benchmarking of delivered operation versus SOW to ensure successful transition to operational steady state
•Establishes disciplines and metrics to ensure contractual requirements are upheld between GEODIS and client
•Ensures predetermined operational KPIs, metrics and health reporting are established and monitored on a consistent basis

Minimum Requirements Experience
•Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Process, mechatronics or related engineering degree
from an accredited institution
•Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education
and experience
•Experience directly managing a team with an operation
•Experience with other implementation disciplines such as Operations Management(preferred experience leading a large complex operation or multiple site operations), IT, Engineering and/or Project Management
•Experience with industry software like Warehouse Management and Control Systems, Transportation Management, Supply Chain and/or Order Management Systems
•Knowledge of basic revenue models, P/L and cost-to-completion projections
•Extensive Knowledge of Warehouse operations, layouts, systems, project management, and material handling equipment
•PC literate with a command of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook

Essential Skills
•Ability to lead large client groups effectively
•Ability to work in a team environment
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
•Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of the organization as well as various levels of the customer's organization
•Ability to maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies
