College Ave Modern Dental, located near the CSU Campus, is expanding and excited to welcome an experienced Dental Assistant to our busy family practice. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work Monday through Thursday with a dedicated and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide chairside assistance to the doctor during procedures
  • Welcome patients warmly and ensure they feel at ease throughout their visit
  • Prepare patients for treatment with care and attention to comfort
  • Conduct thorough reviews and updates of patients' health histories
  • Set up and break down operatories efficiently and hygienically
  • Select and arrange instruments, equipment, and supplies for daily operations
  • Present and enter treatment plans using Denticon software
  • Deliver clear post-operative instructions to patients
  • Maintain instrument sterilization according to strict regulatory standards
  • Manage inventory by stocking and ordering supplies
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and practice

Requirements
  • 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
  • EDDA Certification (preferred but not required)
  • X-Ray Certification (required)
  • CPR Certification (required)
  • Experience with Denticon software (a plus but not required)
