This includes relationships with the largest Tier 0 airframe customers in the world, at their most senior level within the Quality organization.Leadership responsibility for the development, implementation, and execution of the site Quality Strategy, aligned to the Power P&L level strategic objectives.Responsible for ensuring that strategic priorities align to and support critical customer improvement needs. This includes ownership of customer scorecard performance outcomes.The role will have both direct and indirect accountability for relevant regulatory airworthiness approvals for the Vandalia site.Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control. Includes quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes. Includes conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.Manages a small to medium team of senior quality professional, some technicians and inspectors.Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
