Responsibilities:

- The Construction Coordinator serves in a support role, assisting the members of the Commercial Management Division

- This position assists project director & other team members with all aspects of projects throughout the project lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, communications, risk, resources, quality, costs, and change management by providing first class accurate, effective & timely customer service.

- Under the supervision of project director, the Construction Coordinator assists in the implementation & execution of projects, providing both administrative and logistic support.

- The Construction Coordinator assists in the coordination of various events in the planning, scheduling, reporting, communicating, ordering, installation, and follow-on cycle.

- Participates in coordinating the personnel required to complete the project and managing paperwork related to multiple technology projects.

- The coordinator maintains and updates status logs and contributes to progress reports produced for clients and management.

- Follow up on special requests and escalations from the client.

- Research municipalities to submit and monitor permits and inspections.

- Set up job files and folders for each new job in Smartsheets using client folder templates.

- Go onsite to construction projects to document and verify project is meeting contract documents.

Requirements:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficiency in using social media platforms and content creation tools.

- Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

- Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications:

- This candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

- Minimum 1 year construction coordination experience

- Experience with commercial construction permitting.

- Familiarity with construction/ project management software, Procore, PlanGrid, and Smartsheet

- Excellence with organizational and communication skills

- Detail oriented and able to support multiple projects at once.

- Strong PC skills with a working knowledge of including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook
