Our third generation, family-owned business is focused on designing quality products and delivering exceptional service.We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer (Mechatronics) to join our growing team in Shakopee, MN WHO YOU ARE: You have a high level of expertise in manufacturing engineering with strong analytical & technical abilities. You appreciate variety & opportunities to work at a faster than average pace. You effectively manage multiple priorities and take initiative while delivering high-quality products and services. You work quickly, sometimes alone and yet can collaborate with others effectively. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Design & implement improvements for new and existing manufacturing lines (including automation) as well as products from conception through final production. Solve problems in all areas of product development & manufacturing (mechanical, assembly, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrics, paint and test processes). Collaborate with production leaders to improve existing manufacturing capabilities, yields, and capacity by developing team skills to support manufacturing as designed. Review, design, and update documentation (flows, work instructions, specifications etc.). RequirementsWHAT YOU HAVE: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a mechatronics / automation manufacturing environment. Degree, diploma or equivalent work experience in general, industrial, mechanical, mechatronics, manufacturing, electrical, or process engineering. Experienced user of engineering software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc.) Strong knowledge and understanding of small engine components (mechanical & electrical). Technical expertise and writing of manufacturing documents (PFMEA, process flows, control plans, work instructions and checklists. Knowledge and the ability to demonstrate the application of manufacturing processes (controls, methods, automation). Knowledge and the ability to demonstrate the application of robotics, mechatronics, and the automation of manufacturing processes and systems. ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: Ability to communicate professionally in the English Language (verbal & written) You must be legally able to work in the USA.
