SharePoint Portal Administrator
a.
Manage and maintain all servers that support SharePoint deployed at USFFHQ.
b.
Implement and manage SharePoint features, applications, and functionalities toinclude:
•
monitor and analyze system workload daily to ensure optimumperformance
•
provide systems reports usage andactivity
•
move, copy or restore sites and sub-sites asneeded
•
weekly review, clean-up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts andsites
•
monitor SharePoint content and storagedaily
•
audit SharePoint environmentweekly
•
manage SharePoint permissions and useraccess
•
creation of site collections andsites
•
set up alerts to automate workflow and systemfunctions
•
implement IA security policies before a system/feature/function isenabled
c.
Perform computer networking and storage services to include active directory management and configuration, system backup and restore, Hyper-V, VMWare, SAN, Microsoft SQL, ADFS, WAP, Microsoft IIS, Backup/Restore, Clustering, Data Replication, Microsoft .NET Framework, and security implementation(STIG/IAVA).

Use PowerShell and other scripting technologies to automateprocesses.
e.
Troubleshoot, resolve or mitigate issues on SharePoint and systems that support SharePoint such as Operating System, VMWare, MS SQL, IIS, ADFS, WAP, AD and.NET.
f.
Develop and execute projects and plans in implementing Microsoft SharePoint Technologies to include but not limited to site design, user account management, BI (business intelligence), Excel/Access Services, InfoPath, andworkflows.
g.
Develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) on all projects and tasks pertaining toSharePoint.
h.
Provide user training in the use of SharePoint delivered via online or classroomenvironment.
i.
Provide user support on DEPS, OPEN, and follow-on SharePointPortals.
j.
Develop and write SharePoint technical guides and trainingmaterials.
k.
Customize and design sites/pages and masterpages.
l.
Participates in requirements gatherings andmeetings.
m.
Provide insight and recommendations to the government technical lead on industry best practices for the use of SharePoint and relatedtechnologies.
Education:
•
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Associate Degree in Computer Science with additional 2 years ofexperience.
Experience:
•
Minimum of 6 years of in-depth experience, proficiency and knowledge of SharePoint (2010 orhigher).
•
Minimum of 6 years of in-depth experience, proficiency, and knowledge of Windows O/S (Windows 2012 orhigher).
•
Minimum of 6 years of in-depth experience, proficiency, and knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Service 6 orhigher.
•
Minimum of 6 years of in-depth experience, proficiency, and knowledge of ActiveDirectory,
•
Minimum of 4 years of in-depth experience, proficiency, and knowledge of Microsoft ASP.NET.
•
Minimum of 4 years of in-depth experience, proficiency, and knowledge of Microsoft SQL (2008 orhigher).
•
Minimum of 3 years of in-depth experience, proficiency, and knowledge in implementing networking (IP, DNS, VLAN, DMZ, etc.), virtualization (Hyper-V and VMWare), encryption, certificates/PKI, SAN devices, Load Balancing, Clusters, Backups/Recovery and Data Replication.
•
Minimum of 3 years of in-depth experience, proficiency in coding/writing scripts such as PowerShell andJavaScript.
•
Ability to read/write and understand basic Transact SQL(T-SQL).
•
Ability to read and understand basic C# and VB.Netlanguage.
•
Attention to detail and effectively work as part of ateam.
•
Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, prioritizing efforts and meetingdeadlines.
•
Excellent and proficient communications skills and possess a proven ability to be self- motivated.
•
Minimum of 2 years’ proficiency in technicalwriting.
•
Minimum of 1 year in teaching a classroom or onlineenvironment.
Certification:
•
Must maintain current CompTIA Security+certification.
•
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Productivity. MCSE certification must be one of the current published paths by Microsoft or follow-on certification with emphasis on the platform or system being supported in thisPWS.
