We are looking for a Java Developer who can handle the challenges and fast pace associated with global financial markets. Working alongside Tradition’s global data development teams based in London, New York, Singapore and Tokyo, the ideal candidate should be a creative problem solver with strong technical skills to help shape our software offerings to our global tier one financial customers. Candidate would have to be on-site for 1 day in Denver.

We are looking for an individual with the following experience/skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree. 3 years + working in Java-based application development. 3 years + working with SQL database technology and integration e.g. PostgreSQL. 3 years + working with automated testing/mocking frameworks e.g. Junit/JMockit. 2 year + experience with CD/CI processes & technology e.g. Git/Jenkins/Artifactory. 2 year + experience with Linux OS. 2 year + experience with a scripting language e.g. Python.

Other skills/experience considered an advantage:

UI/UX experience using Web-based frameworks. i.e. React. Experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Google Services. Experience with API development. Experience with Service Oriented Architecture. Experience with Netty. Experience with FIX protocol. Understanding REST principles. Financial services experience. Mathematics background.

Key duties:

Self-starter and solution-oriented. Adaptive and agile mindset. Team-centric approach. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines. Comfortable in an environment with heterogeneous technologies. Work at the Tradition Denver development office location. Ability to support solutions outside of regular business hours.

Compensation: $135,000+

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications .
